WFDYS Children Camp
WFDYS Children is short for World Federation of the Deaf Youth Section – Children
WFDYS has three different age categories for camp. Children camps are designed for Deaf/hard of hearing children aged 9-12 years old. The camps are designed to foster a sense of identity, belonging, and discovery by meeting other children like them.
The camps are full of activities, fun games, culture learning, and as well as making new friends that will last a lifetime.

2025 Canadian WFDYS Children Camp
August 23-29, 2025
Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada
The objectives of our camp are to provide leadership training for deaf youth and deaf children in multiple activities; encourage the connection between deaf youth and deaf children from different countries; develop and/or improve their sense of pride and acceptance of their identity; and support cultural exchanges between different nationalities.
We accomplish this through our motto “Together we thrive, from one tree to a forest.”
Our camp aims to create an enriching environment where Deaf children can thrive together,
fostering individual growth and a strong sense of community. Through a variety of activities, workshops, and cultural exchanges, participants will develop essential leadership skills and a deeper understanding of their unique identities.
